Kyle Kelso Auctioneer is honored to present the personal property auction of Gerry and the Late Earl Sims. Earl spent over 30 years in the local grain elevator business, building a strong reputation in the agricultural community. Together, Gerry and Earl were passionate collectors of local ag-related advertising and general antiques.

Gerry has made the decision to move from her country home, she will be offering the entire collection of personal property at public ONLINE ONLY auction. This will include a wide range of vintage advertising items, seed corn signs, feed and ag product signage, local business memorabilia, and much more — all with ties to McDonough County.

This is a unique opportunity to own a piece of local history and celebrate the legacy of two lifelong residents who treasured their community. This online only auction will take place on Wednesday October 8th, 2025 at 6:00pm. The auction will be held on our online bidding platform of HiBid.com. Pick up for this auction will be the following day, Oct. 9th from 12:00 noon to 4:30pm. There will be NO alternate pick up times for this sale.
